A little bit about me...
Hi, I’m Emma! 
In July 2021, I graduated from the University of Portsmouth with First Class Honours in Graphic Design. I am currently working as a Junior Digital Designer at Brighton-based digital agency, We Are Tilt.
I am an enthusiastic designer, motivated by a desire to create innovative ideas and designs which solve real-world problems and have a meaningful impact on users. I have a high attention to detail and am never afraid to step out of the box when it comes to the possibilities of a project. I hope that as my career progresses, this is something I can continue to champion and develop further. I love learning new things and enjoy challenging myself to improve my work, design ability, and soft skills.
During my time at university, I was awarded Overall Creative Champion at the South West Design and Digital Student Awards and awarded a fellowship to the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) as a winner of their student design awards. In July 2021, I was recognised by D&AD winning a D&AD New Blood Pencil for my project 'Spotify Moments’, and a D&AD Portfolio Pick. I also received the University of Portsmouth Visual Culture Award from the School of Art, Design, and Performance for my dissertation ‘Corporate Paedophillia: the over-sexualisation of young girls in advertising’. I am also an Adobe Certified Associate in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
In my free time I enjoy travelling and exploring new places, going for walks, reading, baking and binge watching the latest Netflix show!
